IB ACIO Admit card download from mha.nic.in, www.recruitmentonline.in/mha11/

The IB ACIO Admit card is the official document released by MHA which the aspirants need to carry in the examination hall. In absence of this document, the aspirants’ entry in the exam center will be completely prohibited. This call letter or admit card will be issued by the official authority i.e. MHA (Ministry of Home Affairs) for those aspirants who have submitted online application on or before the last date. It is assumed that the IB ACIO Admit Card 2017 will be uploaded soon for the candidates.

How to Obtain IB Admit Card?

  • The admit card will be issued by the official authority through online and obtaining online is the easiest way for the same.
  • It is advised to keep the call letter in the excellent condition till the examination process is over.
  • The MHA IB Admit card 2017 is important from the online exam point of view as it contains the important details regarding the aspirants as well as the exam.
  • To obtain the admit card, you can visit the direct link which will be posted here soon. This link will take the candidates to the page where the exam call letter is available.
  • There, the candidates will have to provide the application registration details as asked in the online form such as:
    • Registration number
    • Other asked details (if any)
  • On filling these details, the aspirants will be able to view their call letter on the display screen.
  • Finally, the candidates can press the print button to save the soft copy of the admit card and get it printed on the plain white paper.
  • The candidates are advised to keep more than one copy of the IB admit card call letter.

The admit card of IB will have the following Details. Candidates must verify all these details after downloading the admit card. Candidates, will not be permitted to appear in the exam if his/her admit card has not correct details.

Admission

Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)

Eligibility:

  • Should have passed the two years Pre-University Examination of Govt. of Karnataka or XII standard or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology or Electronics securing a minimum of 45% of marks on aggregate.
  • B.Sc. graduates are eligible for admission if they have secured a minimum of 45% of marks on aggregate of Chemistry or Electronics or Computer Science in addition to Physics and Mathematics.
  • The candidates holding three-year Diploma in appropriate branch of engineering conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Govt. of Karnataka, or any other equivalent qualification recognized by VTU with at least 50% of the total maximum marks in the final examination of the Diploma course are eligible for admission to the second year of B.E courses in the corresponding branch.
  • Candidates belonging to Schedule caste (SC) and Schedule tribes (ST) or other backward classes specified by the Govt. of Karnataka for such purpose shall be eligible for admission, if they have passed the qualifying examinations with not less than 40% of marks on aggregate in optional subjects.
  • Candidates with qualifications from outside Karnataka have to obtain eligibility certificates from V.T.U. Belgaum, either directly or through the Engineering College.

Admission Procedure

  • Admission to first year course of Engineering is done on the basis of performance at the Common Entrance Test (CET) by Govt. of Karnataka. Students from outside Karnataka can seek admission through COMED-K, a common test conducted by Private Medical, Engineering & Dental colleges Association of Karnataka.
  • Admission to MBA and MCA courses is regulated through similar entrance tests PGCET conducted by Govt. of Karnataka and Common Aptitude Test, K-MAT conducted by Karnataka private post graduate colleges association.
  • Candidates can also seek admission against seats reserved as ‘Management Quota’. Allotment of these seats are done by the college on the basis of test score/rank at CET, Karnataka / COMED-K or test conducted by SCTIT.

Non Resident Indians Admissions (NRI Quota)

  • An NRI student is one whose parent or guardian is living in a foreign country and the student is an Indian citizen who may have lived or studied in India or abroad.
  • NRI Students are allowed to take admission without CET against prescribed quota by the Karnataka Govt. every year. Students from gulf countries like UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Dubai, Bahrain, Iran etc come under the quota.

Masters of Computer Application (MCA):

Eligibility:

A Bachelor degree with not less than 50% of the marks on aggregate of all years with Mathematics or Statistics or Computer science / Computer programming / Computer applications as one of the optionals. However for SC/ST students and those belonging to other backward classes specified by the Government of Karnataka for such purpose, the qualifying minimum marks shall be 45%.

  • A Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration or its equivalent, recognized by VTU or its equivalent with not less than 50% of marks in aggregate of all the years of degree examination.
  • In the case of SC/ST students and those belonging to to other backward classes specified by the Govt. of Karnataka for such purpose, the marks shall not be less than 45% on aggregate.
  • Graduates from universities other than VTU shall obtain eligibility certificate from VTU.
